About Hannah

My name is Hannah, I am the founder of Trende and I love finding out about new ways to live a happier, healthier, life. I am passionate about fashion, film, food, music, and dancing to name a few. I am a graduate of UC Berkeley where I majored in Film Studies and minored in Theater and Performance Studies. I was honored to study under amazing film historians and practitioners and had the opportunity to write an honor's thesis, A Landscape of Faces, which explores the use of the close-up in contemporary cinema. I have worked in television for over 5 years and had the opportunity to intern at Dreamworks Animation Studios where I worked on "HOME" and "Penguins of Madagascar." 

Besides my love of all things media, I love fashion and shopping! My love of fashion began before I can remember. I have always found it exciting and fun to try on clothing and put outfits together and by the age of six I had my first sewing lesson. The rest is history. I learned how to follow a pattern, then began making my own patterns and clothing designs. Feeling fabrics and discovering how they hang and move is one of my joys. My favorite fashion past times include shopping trips with my friends, browsing fashion websites and retailers for the newest styles, and helping my friends find new outfits in their closets. 

Last but not least comes my love of food. I love food because it brings people together and inspires my creativity. Food is beautiful as well as delicious. I am constantly being lured by the colors of bright red and yellow peppers and the smells of freshly baked bread. My mom was a chef and it is she who instilled in me this love of food and cooking. My favorite foods include homemade chicken soup, Indian curry, fresh Italian pasta, and aged cheese and wine. 

Favorite Hobbies: Playing music with my friends, going wine tasting with my husband, and designing my apartment.
